Among the earliest published monographs on Leonor Fini, here is the seventh volume of Galleria, a series of seven monographs on Modern Italian artists. The previous six volumes focused on Alberto Savinio, Francesco Messina, Achille Funi, Mario Cortiello, Pio Semeghini, and Amerigo Bartoli.

Our copy is inscribed in ink Camillo Aldao | Roma. Abril 1952 on the top of the front end leaf by the artist and additionally signed and dedicated in ink (again to Aldao) by Fini on the top of the title page. Camillo Aldao, by the way, was referred to in the August 08, 1924 issue of the Omaha Morning Bee as "a fabulously rich Argentinian".

An uncommon, extremely collectible, hand signed monograph illustrating many of Fini's most highly regarded paintings and drawings.
