The deluxe edition of the 1945 first printing of Corti's legendary Dreams of Ink portfolio containing one original monoprint signed on verso by Corti, 25 images on 24 loose decalcomania ink paintings and one cover image in reproduction, and texts by Paul Eluard, Rene Char, Julien Gracq, and Gaston Bachelard.

This example one of the first fifty portfolios containing the one unframed unique original decalcomania drawing on paper signed in ink on the reverse by Jose Corti. There also exists a further six hundred numbered copies of the album without the original artwork.
